FAQs
What should my child bring?
- A filled water bottle. We provide stationery, craft materials, and a Japanese snack (nut-free). If your child has specific dietary needs, please tell us in advance.
Do they need any Japanese already?
- No. It’s beginner-friendly. We begin with romaji to explain sounds, then introduce simple hiragana/katakana and phrases through games and crafts.
My child is under 7 or over 12—can they join?
- The camp is designed for ages 7–12. If your child is very close to the range, please get in touch with us and we’ll advise you.
Where is it held?
- Edinburgh South (EH10). The exact address is shared after booking. Free on-street parking is nearby.
Drop-off & pick-up times?
- Doors from 09:20. Session 09:30–12:00. Sign-in/out each day; ID may be requested on the first collection.
Allergies or medical needs?
- We are allergy-aware and operate nut-free. Please share details on the form and bring any necessary medication (e.g., inhaler, EpiPen) along with clear instructions.
